When a disagreement arose between Prophet Musa (AS) and Prophet Harun (AS), Prophet Musa (AS) prayed for Allah SWT to forgive his own mistakes and those of his brother, Prophet Harun (AS). Prophet Musa prayed, saying:
رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَلأَخِي وَأَدْخِلْنَا فِي رَحْمَتِك
“O my Lord, forgive me and my brother and admit us into Your mercy.”
Surah al-A’raf: Ayah 151
- How many among us pray for our own siblings?
- Looking at this prayer, it would be wonderful if siblings prayed for each other’s well-being and forgiveness, so that they may always remain in the mercy of Allah.
- May the bond of sibling love never break and endure until paradise.
