Allah says in Quran:
وَمَا هَٰذِهِ ٱلۡحَيَوٰةُ ٱلدُّنۡيَآ إِلَّا لَهۡوٞ وَلَعِبٞۚ وَإِنَّ ٱلدَّارَ ٱلۡأٓخِرَةَ لَهِيَ ٱلۡحَيَوَانُۚ لَوۡ كَانُواْ يَعۡلَمُونَ
And this life of the world is only amusement and play! Verily, the home of the Hereafter – that is the life indeed (i.e. the eternal life that will never end), if they but knew.
Suruh Al-Ankaboot: Ayah 64
- Do not mistake the station for the destination.
- What you lose of time can never be recovered, so be mindful with every hour given to you in this temporary world.
- This worldly life is no more than a diversion and amusement. But the Hereafter is indeed the real life, if only they knew.
