Being Grateful for Divine Blessings

Abu Hurairah reported Allah’s Messenger ﷺ as saying:

“Look at those who stand at a lower level than you but don’t look at those who stand at a higher level than you, for that is better-suited that you do not disparage Allah’s favors.”

Sahih Muslim (2963)

  • May Allah SWT make us among His grateful servants. Amen.

Du’a For One Whose Affairs Have Become Difficult

O Allah! There is no ease except that which You make easy, and You make difficult things easy if You will.

Narrated by Al-Bayhaqi in Al-Da’awat Al-Kabir (266) and Ibn Hibban (974).

  • May we all be granted ease in all our affairs in life and be facilitated in making all decisions wisely.

Apabila Menziarahi Orang Sakit

Daripada Ummu Salamah R.anha, bahawa Nabi ﷺ bersabda:

Riwayat Muslim (919)

Doa Yang Menghimpunkan Segala Kebaikan Dunia Dan Akhirat

Riwayat Muslim (2720)

Ganjaran Untuk Sohibul Quran

Riwayat al-Tirmizi (2914)

Dhuha Prayer

One of the sunnah prayers that every Muslim is strongly advised to conduct is the Dhuha prayer. The prayer, which is also referred to as al-Awwabin prayer, begins after the sun rises.

Furthermore, the Prophet PBUH advised Abu Hurairah RA to never leave Dhuha prayer:

“My friend (the Prophet (ﷺ) advised me to observe three things: (1) to fast three days a month; (2) to pray two rak`at of Dhuha prayer (forenoon prayer); and (3) to pray witr before sleeping.”

Sahih al-Bukhari (1880) and Sahih Muslim (721)

One benefit of the Dhuha prayer is that two rakaats are the same as our body’s 360 joints being donated.

This hadith is narrated by Imam Muslim:

From Abi Zar RA, the Prophet PBUH said:

“In the morning charity is due from every bone in the body of every one of you. Every utterance of Allah’s glorification is an act of charity. Every utterance of praise of Him is an act of charity, every utterance of profession of His Oneness is an act of charity, every utterance of profession of His Greatness is an act of charity, enjoining good is an act of charity, forbidding what is distreputable is an act of charity, and two rak’ahs which one prays in the forenoon will suffice.”

Sahih Muslim (720)

Du’a When Life Gets Hard

Meaning: “O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the difficulty of trials, from the misery of adversity, from the evil of fate, and from the joy of enemies.”

Sahih al-Bukhari (6347)

  • Heavy trials are for great people. Every time we successfully endure a trial, we indeed become stronger individuals.
  • May whatever trials and tribulations we need to face today be faced with strength, patience, and faith. Let us hope we remain steadfast for the days ahead.

The Bankrupt People in Hereafter

Abu Hurairah RA reported Allah’s Messenger ﷺ as saying:

Do you know who is poor? They (the Companions of the Holy Prophet) said: A poor man amongst us is one who has neither dirham with him nor wealth. He (the Holy Prophet) said: The poor of my Umma would be he who would come on the Day of Resurrection with prayers and fasts and Zakat but (he would find himself bankrupt on that day as he would have exhausted his funds of virtues) since he hurled abuses upon others, brought calumny against others and unlawfully consumed the wealth of others and shed the blood of others and beat others, and his virtues would be credited to the account of one (who suffered at his hand). And if his good deeds fall short to clear the account, then his sins would be entered in (his account) and he would be thrown in the Hell-Fire.

Sahih Muslim (2581)

Praying For The Muslims In Their Absence

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:

“The supplication of a Muslim for his brother at his back (in his absence) is responded so long as he makes a supplication for blessings for his brother and the commissioned Angel says: Amen, and says: May it be for you too.”

Sahih Muslim (2733)
